Signed release · Version 1.3.0 · Android 8.0+
The download becomes available when the signed release is hosted.
Connect your own Twilio account
Create a workspace on the web, connect your Twilio account and eligible numbers, then sign in to the Android app with the same Halo account. You can also open the web workspace for account management and optional AI or automation settings.
Install the signed app
Download the APK from this page when it is available. Android may ask you to allow installation from the browser that downloaded it. Review the app and permissions before proceeding. This direct release is not presented as a Google Play listing.
Keep Halo open for incoming calls
Human incoming calls require the Android app to remain open and online. The release does not use Firebase or closed-app push notifications. Outbound calls use microphone access; active calls use the app’s foreground call service.
Prefer the web?
Open the web workspace in a supported browser. Your numbers and conversation history are stored on your Halo server, so the Android app and web workspace use the same account.
